At a recent Board of Directors meeting held at The Hartford Courant, Chairman of Board of Hartford’s Camp Courant (HCC), Gene Sheehan, was proud to announce the addition of several new names to the Board and Advisory Board of the oldest and largest FREE summer program currently in the United States. Three additions were voted on to the Board of Directors that included Nancy Meyer, Publisher of The Hartford Courant, Andrea Nicoli, Marketing Director of DATTCO Inc., and Natalie Patterson, an alumni of Camp and former participant in the ‘Bank of America – Junior Leaders’ program. An additional three selections were made to the organization’s Advisory Board of Directors including Steve Bonafonte, Partner at Pullman & Comley, Ben Goldman, Host of the Fox CT ‘Charity Corner’ and Tyler Polk, Consultant at Fiduciary Investment Advisors. 2014 is a very important year on campus in February, as HCC enters its 120th Anniversary in serving the children of Hartford. This updated roster of talented leaders addressed several needs in moving the organization forward for many continued years of operation. A three year Strategic Plan, a diverse Special Event docket, and a Camp season with more than 600 campers a day arriving on campus in Farmington will complete a 120th year of service to Hartford’s kids that the community will never forget.
