Local Realtors Beautify Campus as Part of ‘RED DAY’ Initiative

$10,000 Gift Helps to Transform Hartford’s Camp Courant for 2014 Season

Each year, on the second Thursday in May, tens of thousands of Keller Williams associates from across North America participate in a day of giving back to their communities through their annual RED (Renew, Energize, Donate) Day celebration. RED Day initiatives run the gamut, from rebuilding homes, refurbishing local parks, giving to local food shelters, hosting blood drives, beautifying beaches and so much more. Projects are chosen by each individual market center based on a need they see within its community.  Hartford’s Camp Courant continues to reap the rewards of the generosity of the extended Keller Williams family.  Despite the rainy weather, Keller Williams of Greater Hartford's brought out 75 volunteers to Camp for 'RED DAY.  The volunteers spent hours painting the inside of Camp’s main building, raking leaves and debris from the play areas and cleaning up the basketball courts, all helping to bring Camp back to life after a harsh winter season.

A $10,000 in-kind gift from Sherwin Williams and Fallon Moving included materials and supplies to construct a new guard shed to protect Camp’s security guard from the summer elements. With the exceptional efforts of everyone at Keller Williams, Camp will be beautiful once again for some truly well deserving young people.
