Max Restaurant Group Continues Commitment of Giving to Hartford’s Camp Courant
Ask anyone who has ever dined in Greater Hartford about the most respected restaurant brand in the area and the answer will most often be the legendary Max Restaurant Group. Under the leadership of committed Hartford’s Camp Courant (HCC) Board member, Richard Rosenthal (President, Max Restaurant Group), the #MaxCares initiative has provided tens of thousands of dollars in support to HCC for more than a decade. Whether it is through the annual ‘Max Classic’, providing as well as organizing delicious food offerings each Fall at Camp’s ‘Buddy Bash’ celebration, or catering a special Camp event with outstanding customer service and class, the Max team always answers the call to assistance for Hartford’s children.
This year is no different as the group has launched its ‘HCC Employee Giving Program’. Starting in January 2015 and running through the end of May, each Max Restaurant Group employee (near 1,000 strong) has been asked to donate $5 or another specified amount from their bi-weekly paycheck in an effort to provide a child with the experience of Camp in the summer. The total donations from Max employees will then be matched dollar-for-dollar by Rich and his partnering organizations. This significant gift of generosity and kindness is a true example of the leadership that Max Restaurant Group and its team members provide in giving back to the community.
